Statistical methods are used by Vocapia Research to model
spoken language and to build leading edge speech processing
technologies for professional applications.
Vocapia Research was founded in July 2000. We are an R&D company and a
software publisher in the speech and language technology field. We have a
privileged partnership with LIMSI, a French CNRS laboratory conducting
research on speech processing since the 70's. The first commercial version of
our software suite was released in July 2003. We are involved in a number of
collaborative multiparty R&D projects both at the national and
international levels.
We provide solutions and expertise for core speech processing technologies such
as speech recognition, language identification and speaker recognition. We have
speech-to-text
technologies for many languages including
Arabic, Cantonese, Czech, Dutch, English,
Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian,
Lithuanian, Mandarin, Persian, Pashto, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian,
Spanish, Swahili, Swedish,
Turkish,
Ukrainian and
Urdu, with several
others under development. The VoxSigma software suite is the latest
generation of speech processing software offered by Vocapia Research, building
upon accurate statistical modeling techniques developed at LIMSI for speech
production and speech perception.
Some of the most common applications of our technology are audio and
audiovisual data mining (broadcast data, call center data), media
monitoring, media asset management, and telephone-based conversational
systems.
VoxSigma is available both as a standalone software and as a Web service.
